About Gloria
Gloria Zimmerman has been a resident of Monmouth County since 1986 and a Holmdel resident since 1991. As a full time real estate sales professional for over 15 years, she currently works for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach in the Holmdel Office. “I believe that the ability to understand the needs of your clients is essential to being successful in the real estate industry. This begins by forming relationships based on trust, expertise and experience.” Gloria’s ability to negotiate transactions began many years prior to working in real estate. After graduating college with a degree in Modern Languages, she began her career as a multilingual recruiter. “I had to present my job applicants to international corporations and once the applicant was considered as a potential employee, it was my responsibility to negotiate salaries and benefits packages for my clients. I also did career counseling which allowed me to focus on the needs of clients wanting to make a career change. I had to be a great listener while guiding them in a direction which would be a benefit to their corporate moves.” These are skills that are utilized in the real estate business on a daily basis. “I still have to listen to the needs of my clients and propose a marketing plan or strategy unique to each client whether buying or selling a home. Of course following through on all the proposed details is a necessity.
